2001 Toyota Tundra - 4x4 - Go Fast Camper
ToyoTundy
It’s come time to part-ways with my trusty steed, our family is beginning to outgrow it.
We’ve made many memories in this truck, will be hard to let go of, but it’s ready for the next chapter!
It is a 2001 Toyota Tundra Limited Access cab with a 4x4 drivetrain, leather interior, and a GoFastCamper.
It has 230k miles on it.
I have owned it since 2018.
Prior to that, it has had 2 other owners for similar amounts of time each.
This truck spent the majority of its life in Arizona and Southern California. It was relocated to the Colorado front range in 2025.
It has performed very well in a variety of conditions - it is nimble and compact enough to navigate the city quite easily - it has performed well in a variety of off-road conditions - the Deserts of So-Cal, the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains, the Rocky Mountains, and general roadtrips all over.
It is well appointed as a people and gear hauler, we have stuffed 5 people and all their gear in the truck many times over and it acts as a fantastic base camp once set-up.
It has had the majority of its maintenance performed either by the dealership or high quality Toyota specialist repair shops. When repairing the vehicle I always try to use OEM parts wherever practical or important. I performed a pretty significant refresh on the vehicle in the summer of 2025.
Passing Smog Test Certificate in-hand, December 2025.
The front hood of the vehicle and some other small parts of the body have sun damage and could use a paint correction.
The paint has some minor scratches throughout the body, indicative of normal wear from off-roading when coming into contact with bushes on the trail.
The rear left panel was once bumped into by a sedan in a parking lot, leaving a dent. I have been able to use a suction cup to pull the dent out. I can’t remember what caused it, but the dent has reappeared once and I was able to successfully pull it out again.
No collisions.

Notable or Recent Maintenance :

-New Freedom Upper Control Arms (mid 2025)
-Replaced Starter, OEM Refurbished (200k~ miles)
-Light Interior Detail (2026)
Deferred Maintenance :
-Oil leak
—Reputable Toyota specialist took of timing cover and performed a boroscope search to pinpoint this leak - was determined to be an oil “sweat” from the Oil Pump housing seal and Crankshaft seal
—Recommendation was to watch and defer until larger engine maintenance is required, such as replacing the Timing Belt
-Steering Rack leak
—Steering rack should be replaced at some point
—Not urgent or critical, I am keeping the fluid topped off, but getting this fixed would be a notable refresher to the truck
-Drive Shaft - some play noted by a shop during inspection - not urgent
-Front Strut damage
—One of the OME front struts has had an internal weld tab come loose and needs to be replaced
—The truck drives fine in this condition, however, I would recommend replacing this component before engaging in any legitimate off-roading
-Tie Rod has some play
The truck is located in Boulder Colorado.
I’ve got a busy calendar and work schedule, local meetups are strongly preferred. I can do some reasonable travel for an extremely motivated buyer.
Please reach out with any questions!
Cheers,
