Remodeled 8ft. Four Wheel Camper for sale.

Early 90ies Fleet slide-in truck camper from FWC, remodeled and lightened up (plumbing removed etc.) to apprx. 800 lbs.
8ft long but works with 6.5 ft bed and the tailgate down. You will need a full-size truck with a minimum of 49.5" between the wheel wells. Will not fit a Tacoma or similar mid-size truck.

Remodeled w. solar, two sleeping platforms, Fantastic Fan and working propane furnace. The propane stove technically works but only one element and that one burns sooty. We never cooked in there and used a Coleman stove outside.
Added roof lift-assist gas struts, easy to open and close by one person.
Added corner tie-down points to attach eg. Happijac or Torklift (we use Torklift).
New battery installed. Battery powers LED dome lights, fantastic fan, furnace and a USB charger.
Takes shore power and has two outlets inside that work when connected. Battery charges via Solar and/or shore power.

Comes with two hand-cranking side jacks to take it off the truck.
Comes with a frame of 2x6 boards that lift it a bit higher out of the truck bed so the camper does not touch the side rails (you might not need this).

I rebuilt the back lift boards – the front ones are enforced w. aluminum braces and are holding up for now. Probably something that needs to be properly taken care of eventually.
Pop up fabric is generally worn and patched up w. vinyl and tape. Watertight in rain and snow currently and we never saw the use to fully replace it. It worked the way it is now especially considering California weather but it’s also something that probably needs to eventually be taken care of eventually.

It's not perfect but has tons of life left in it in the right hands.
