Cons/reasons this isn’t a $50,000 sprinter van
It is not the fastest. Can cruise at 65 and can comfortably get up to 70. But if going long distance driving +2hrs at a time, performs best cruising at 55
The camper portion of the rig could use some work. A couple drawers have splintered wood at the screws. One drawer is stuck hallway open because the sliders were too wide for the fit of the drawer. The fridge/freezer drawer should be redone.
But that is it. A few simple fixes for a super cool rig.
Just took it down to Moab to go climbing with my brother and the rig brought so much ease to the trip. The highlight was definitely playing cards comfortably inside after the campfire went out.
The reason I’m not holding onto this rig is my folks live in NH and I work the summer wildfire season out of California. At the end of a long fire season, I lack the patience to meander at a slower pace cross country and want to downsize. This is an awesome rig and someone else will definitely really enjoy it.
