DIY Truck Camper Shell plus interior components
Built to fit 2014-2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 extended cab 6.5' bed
Would probably fit other trucks, just might need modification
Shell is approximately 350-400 lbs
Back barn doors with RV lockset
Fully insulated
1/4" ply over 2 x 2 construction
Exterior is covered in 6 oz fiberglass, epoxy, and marine paint
Interior is painted/stained 1/4" ply trimmed in cedar
Set up for 25" mattress included, plus the ability to add a second 25" mattress on platform (also included)
Small hand-pump sink
All interior components; bedbox with storage, additional bed platform, kitchen cabinets, floor (maple vinyl over 1/2" ply) are completely modular making for quick and easy storage and installation). Which means in 10 minutes you can have your truck bed back.
Side windows are insulated house windows
Fantastic roof vent fan
Full electric (exterior "porch" light, interior ceiling LEDs, reading light, ceiling fan) plus all exterior running/brake/tail lights
Fuse panel powered by Bluetti EB70S powerstation
Set up to charge from 12V aux power in trucks trailer wiring harness
I have it set up to bolt down to truck bed rails with six bolts, could also use clamps.
Camped for a week this past October on a test run down to 30 degree in Montana with zero condensation.
Price is basically what I have into it material wise plus a tiny bit.
